Applying for finance online is available to all South Africans with a valid driver’s licence.

The most convenient way to apply for finance is to click on “Get finance” once you’ve selected the car you are interested in. However, should you prefer to speak to someone face to face, you are most welcome to visit any of our ThabangCars4u branches, where one of our finance and insurance agents can assist you with your application.
Cars on our floor marked as “Category A” can be financed.
Vehicles marked as “Platinum (Ready-to-go)” or with a “Gold sticker” are independently evaluated by Dekra and do not require any repairs to pass a roadworthy test. However, “Category A” vehicles without a "Platinum (Ready-to-go)" or “Golden sticker” mark will require repair work in order to pass the roadworthy test. The required repair work will be indicated on the Dekra Vehicle Condition Report. You can refer to the Dekra Vehicle Condition Report attached to each vehicle listing for more detail on potential issues that need to be addressed in order to pass a roadworthy test.
If the vehicle is financed and the manufacturer’s warranty has expired or will expire within 6 months from the date of purchase, we will require you to purchase an extended or pre-owned mechanical warranty. This can be purchased from ThabangCars4u as a separate product at an additional price. If you prefer not to purchase a mechanical breakdown warranty from ThabangCars4u, we will require proof of a third party warranty policy that is active for at least 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase and that provides at least R20 000 cover for major component failure such as an engine failure.
